报告内容简介:

Organic solar cell (OSC) technology is an emerging candidate for next generation printable photovoltaics primarily due to the consistent progress in efficiency, printability, low cost etc. Organic semiconductors, due to the tightly bounded excitonic feature, tend to have drawbacks in achieving high efficiency, but has unique strengths in specific applications. In this talk, Professor Li will connect the dots from the early years of OSC exploration within a journey from only a few % power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) to double digit and now days ~20%. Focus will be given to recent progress in solution processed single junction organic solar cells, in which several approaches have been explored in achieving advances in OSC performance, including: (a) Progress in morphology control in non-fullerene acceptor OSCs - Achieving 19.3% binary OSCs (certified 18.9%) via an unconventional non-monotonic intermediate state manipulation strategy;  (b) Formation and controlling of graded BHJ OSC with high efficiency and processability.Furthermore, from the much appropriated form-factor/application point of view, Professor Li will present works in (a)highly visibly transparent OSC with record 5.35% LUE via optical and active layer engineering; (b)all solution process intrinsically stretchable semitransparent OSC(c)multifunctional device integrating OSC, electrochromic supercapacitor and triboelectric nanogenerator.



报告人简介:

李刚教授2003年于美国Iowa State University获得凝聚态物理博士学位,现任香港理工大学教授、钟士元爵士可再生能源教授和智慧能源研究院(RISE)副院长,属于可印刷太阳能电池领域的国际知名学者和聚合物太阳能电池领域的开拓者之一,重点关注器件机理及器件稳定性。至今发表SCI论文230余篇,其中14篇发表在Nature子刊与Science上,总他引 77000余次 (谷歌学术),H-因子90。自2014年起长期当选汤姆森-路透/科维睿安“全球高被引科学家”,先后入选美国光学学会会士,英国皇家化学会会士和国际光电工程学会会士,先后主持香港研究资助局(RGC),国家自然科学基金委等多项基金项目。
